A typical real estate transaction can have up to 208 tasks related to getting your home SOLD and CLOSED. Even in a healthy real estate market it is NOT as easy as just sticking a sign in the yard. What I've been telling clients lately is that it may not be hard to "get" a contract....but it's a whole lot harder to "keep" a contract. When the steps/tasks get tough, that's when you'll quickly realize how important and needed it is to a have a true professional in your corner. Not somebody who just does real estate on the side. Not one of your family members who has a real estate license. Not your average realtor (who btw, average realtor in our market sells about 3-4 homes a year).
